What is this task trying to achieve?

For us to realise that there are great companies out there that are providing useful services whilst also helping the planet! Ecosia is one of them!

Why is Ecosia great? Because it donates 80% of the money it makes to reforestation projects. Google, and other search engines, just make money for the people that own the company.

NOTE: Harmonic Progression doesn’t have any links to Ecosia, nor do we have any financial or other gain from recommending Ecosia. We just like the idea :)

How should I do it?

Easy! Instead of searching on Google (or Yahoo, Bing etc.), use www.ecosia.org.
